         <description><![CDATA[The Daily Shake is excited to announce that Gelman, Rosenberg &amp; Freedman, an accounting firm based in Bethesda, MD has started another Weight Loss Challenge for the benefits of its employees.&#160; In the fall of 2008 The Daily Shake facilitated a challenge for 18 employees and had trememdous results.&#160; On average each person lost 8 pounds in 12 weeks with the Winner losing a total of 32.5 pounds (13% of their original weight).

         <description><![CDATA[The Daily Shake began a new Weight Loss Challenge today.&#160; The challenge participants meet at 7:00 each Thursday night for 12 weeks.&#160; Nutritional topics are discussed each week and participants are given an opportunity to celebrate their weekly progress while they strive to achieve their personal wellness goals.
New participants are encouraged to join a Challenge at any point as progress is tracked on a percentage of weight loss not on total pounds lost.

         <description><![CDATA[Sticking to my eating plan is paying off on the scale. &#160;Today I weighed in at 190.0 exactly. &#160;For a split second, the scale read 189.6, but ticked up to 190 - which I am OK with. &#160;It's a great feeling to see that I am experiencing the results I am looking for, solely by sticking to my program.

         <description><![CDATA[So, all my good work paid off. &#160;Today I weighed in at 191.2. &#160;Getting ready to have my morning shake then off to the Nutrition Club. &#160;We have 4 Weight Loss Challenges going today -- 9:30, 12:30, 5:30, 7:00. &#160;I'll be busy all day, but I'll have all my snacks and water around to stay on track. &#160;For me, the most important thing my body needs is to be consistently getting nutrients. &#160;Migraines occur if I go more than 3-4 hours without eating something.&#160;

         <description><![CDATA[Sorry for not updating for a few days. &#160;I was in Philadelphia over the weekend at a training event. &#160;Anyway, &#160;When I got back on the scale on Monday morning I was pleased to see that my weight had stayed constant over the weekend at 192.2. &#160;Given that I was sitting on my butt all day for two days and had a yummy Bison Bacon Cheeseburger and fries for dinner on Saturday night -- I'd say that was a good weekend.

         <description><![CDATA[Monday's weigh-in was rough. &#160;Scale showed 195 - to be expected from the food I ate on Sunday as we watched the Eagles/Cardinals game.
With a busy schedule I had a not great day following my program. &#160;I made a shake, but ran out of the house and left it behind. &#160;I had my Beverage Mix mid morning and a protein bar for another snack. &#160;I was with clients consistently from 1:00-4:00 and completely missed lunch. &#160;I had another protein bar to try and tide me over until...]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Sorry for the incomplete report for the 16th. &#160;In addition to my day of appointments, my wife had 3 teeth pulled, so I was tending to her and my 3 boys.
Yesterday was a crazy day with the boys in the house all day. &#160;I weighed in yesterday at 192.8. &#160;The one thing I tell all of my clients is to at least get a shake for breakfast and somehow I forgot to do that myself. &#160;The boys were chanting for McDonalds for lunch so we went around 11:30. &#160;Not the best food to be eating...]]></description>

I'll be on the road a lot today, with doctor's appointment in the morning for a physical (I'll report back what the doctor says). &#160;Then to a new client for a metabolism test and initial consultation, then back to the club for another new client.&#160;]]></description>
